Redbooth’s Task Overview report is where you can find all of the tasks in your organization. Its powerful filtering tools allow you to generate precise reports, ensuring that no task, be it active or resolved, can be overlooked. You can also export the report into an Excel or CSV file.
This reporting tool is available for all members except for externals. If you have a Business subscription then you can avail of extra filtering options. Read on below to discover how to get the best out of Task Overview.
Task Overview reports
You can access Task Overview by clicking on the Reports tab across the top of your screen. It will appear in the drop-down menu. Note that, by default, the report is set to show the most recently created tasks.
There are four different filters available:
- Created by (exclusive to Business subscriptions)
You can use as many filters at a time as you like. You can also change the order of the tasks listed by clicking on the headers which have the black arrows beside them:
The different filtering tools make searching for a specific task very easy. You can apply more than one filter at a time to really narrow down your search.
This filter can be set to show you tasks across all workspaces, or you can choose a specific one.
Have you ever wanted to see a list of resolved tasks in your organization? Then choose the Resolved option and get the list that you have been looking for. Combine this filter with a chosen assignee to get a list of tasks resolved by any given user.
Get an overview of all tasks assigned to any user in your organization. Note, however, that if you want to search for an assignee’s tasks by workspace, that all workspaces are available from the Workspaces tab, regardless of whether the assignee is a member of them or not.

This filter is exclusive for Business subscriptions and allows you to see a list of tasks created by any member in your organization.
