Let your team know when you’re temporarily unavailable. This helps prevent misassigned work and sets expectations while you’re away. Set Out of Office status when you're away or unavailable. Teammates will see a warning if they try to assign you a task or subtask and your avatar will display a red out-of-office icon as shown below.
Enabling Out of Office Status
Click your avatar (top-right) → My profile settings.
Check Set as “Out of office.”
Click Update Settings.
Tips & FAQs
Does this block assignments?
No. It adds a warning to alert teammates, but they can still assign tasks if needed.
Will notifications be muted?
No. Out of Office doesn’t change your notifications. If you want fewer alerts, adjust your Notification Settings separately.
Can I set start/end dates?
Not currently. Toggle it on before you leave and off when you return.
