The Redbooth for Outlook add-in connects your email inbox to Redbooth to close the gap between email communications and task management. It lets you create Redbooth tasks right from your Outlook inbox and automatically populates tasks with email contents including attachments. If you haven't already, you will first need to install the add-in.
Create Task
1. Open an email and click on the Redbooth for Outlook icon.
2. The task "title" and "description" will get auto-populated from the email subject and description respectively.
3. Select the workspace (required) that you would like to create the task in.
4. Select the task list (required) that you would like to create the task in.
5. Select the assignee (optional), due date (optional).
6. Select the mark as urgent (optional), add attachments (optional) checkboxes and hit create task.
7. The task will appear in your Redbooth workspace.
Edit Task
1. Click on the Redbooth for Outlook icon.
2. Select the Edit Task tab.
3. Select the workspace (required) that the task you would like to edit is in.
4. Select the task list (required) that the task you would like to edit is in.
5. Enter a comment and hit add comment.
6. The comment will appear in the Redbooth task.
